COVID-19 SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS
I wanted to share with you some preparations for how we can stay safe during sessions. As of May, photography businesses are allowed to resume operations, so we plan to operate business as usual with special precautions in place. (Please note: as this is a changing situation, these policies are subject to change. We will continue to follow CDC and local guidelines about how to conduct business safely.)
I would like to reassure you that I am taking all precautions advised by WHO and CDC to maintain a sterile environment at my studio so that my littlest clients and their families are protected.
Here are the health and safety measures that are currently in place in the studio:
HEALTH MEASURES
I regularly monitor my temperature, and I will be wearing a mask during the session. I ask that clients check their temperature before coming to the studio as well, and please let me know if anyone is ill. There is no fee to reschedule due to illness.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
I wash my hands thoroughly before and after each session Hand sanitizer is also kept out in the shooting area at all times. I will request you wash your hands when you arrive.
STUDIO CLEANING POLICY
After each session, the studio is deep cleaned. All surfaces are disinfected. Every wrap and prop used during the session is washed/sanitized and any dresses that are worn are washed. I will be limiting the amount of dresses, headbands, props, etc. that I bring to each session, so if there is anything specific you’d like me to have, please let me know!
MINIMAL POSING
In order for me to minimize handling the baby, I’m recommending we do minimal posing and keep the baby wrapped for the majority of the session. (This is how the majority of my session is typically done anyway, so we can still achieve a beautiful gallery this way!)
OUTDOOR SESSIONS
If you are more comfortable doing an outdoor session for your newborn, let me know and we can chat about it! These would feature mostly family images and then we’d get some photos of the baby alone on a blanket or in a basket.
SICK POLICY
Please let me know if anyone coming to the studio has had a fever or any other symptoms such as cough, runny nose or vomitting in the last 24 hours and we will reschedule your session. To reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. There is no fee to reschedule.
